This is my second tattoo, I need to take a pic of the first, the kanji for water. I really hope my new tat artist doesn't retire because he's damn good and funny as hell. Sorry if it's too small, I took it with my cell so I could text it to my sister :P

Very cool

I will have a better pic taken as soon as I can and one of the kanji. I have more planned plus when Alex turns 18 she and I will have an identical lotus flower done, we're still debating where, only needs to be visible (but still hideable for work)so people can see it when we go out together :)

I've heard, from those who do know, that the small of the back is not a good place for health reasons. Basically avoid the spine. Otherwise, you're good to go.
Me, I want at least one more, I'm working on figuring out the script for it and it'll go underneath my present on, again on my left arm.
Good to 'see' you again *grin*

Sorry I took forever to reply to this, I have a new pc now but no internet yet lol. Neither Alex nor myself are too fond of tailbone tats for different reasons: she just plain doesn't like them and I'm past my prime at showing that area LOL . I entertained the idea of a snake down my spine but then thought it wouldn't be good, instinct I guess. I want another one soon but she made me promise I would hold it til she could have her first. Having waited all my life, what's a few more months? :)

Yes a few more months shouldn't be an impediment. I'm trying to hunt down the proper script and spelling for my next tattoo for my left arm and considering a couple of ideas for either my right arm or chest or shoulder blades.

Isn't it great what he did with the shading? He is amazing. He was the one who suggested to me doing it that way and I inmediately saw what he saw in my mind's eye. It turned out better than I imagined it. Since colors would be a hassle in the long run with my skin tone, well done shading works beautifully.

I love it :) . My son is thinking about a dragon done by him, he was with me when I had this done, trying to make me laugh. The guy is the best, all they guys at the parlor are but Josue is ours now lol.

I want elves with my kids faces now...

Nice. Oriental or European? :)

Basicaly european. In fact, he wants a variation of a tribal dragon that [ profile] ejja_1 did for me a long time ago. He plans on having it start in the back and come up his shoulder with the head ending on his chest.
